Welcome to the Low Vibe Club! Why trying to constantly raise your vibration makes no sense.

In today’s article, I’d like to invite you to join the Low Vibe Club. And if this invitation triggers any resistance or irritation in you, that’s all the more reason to keep reading.
After all, we’re constantly told to raise our vibration as high as possible.
If you Google “High Vibes” in Berlin, you’ll end up at the “High Vibe Studio” in Heilbronn. There’s High Vibe Food for “more vitality, joy, and lightness”, a corresponding training program to become a “High Vibe Practitioner”, High Vibes Herbal Chocolate, podcasts for higher vibes and, in general, a whole lot of trademark registrations related to high vibrations.
But why start a Low Vibe Club now, when everyone’s so into high vibes?
Since I’m still following Season 4 of the spiritual soap opera centered on Julian Zietlow, I didn’t miss the fact that Ferdinand Beck, a.k.a. Vegains, had a pretty rough time last weekend. Kudos to him for being so open about how “Mama Aya” tore him apart. As an outsider, you just want to wrap him in a blanket and call the mental health hotline.
I’m not sure how far I can summarize this without a trigger warning. That’s why I’ll leave it at that. If you’re interested, you can check out his YouTube videos. In those vides he describes the “ceremony” and everything that happened afterward in detail. In any case, he’s still completely off track and busy trying to “ground” himself. In the comments, people are recommending to go swimming (to ground himself 🤡). To take an ice bath or do breathwork.
Meanwhile, he’s flailing around on a slackline in his Insta Stories. Suddenly it clicked. It’s why at our Sound Baths, the most popular mat for years has been the one right next to a special Tibetan singing bowl. The singing bowl that emits the “deepest” vibes.
Welcome to the Low Vibe Club!
From an astrological perspective, we are still in the midst of a major shift in eras. This also implies that, collectively, we’re losing some of our grounding. Much of what once seemed safe is now teetering. In times of such upheaval, it’s vital to ensure we stay sufficiently grounded. On top of that, Neptune has almost finished its run through its own sign. With its retrograde motion, it is now gathering momentum once more to press the reset button in Aries next year. Neptune in Pisces represents deceptions, illusions and substances. And Neptune in Pisces runs through every single season of the Zietlow Soap.
In 2024, we see two sides. There are people dealing with the struggle by claiming the mat next to our deepest singing bowl. And then there are those sliding from one trip to the next, getting tangled up in their own delusions of grandeur.
The symbiosis of spirituality and capitalism
And where spirituality and capitalism join forces, the market takes over. With programs, online courses, coaching and apps promising enlightenment, the opening of the third eye and lasting bliss. It’s always about escaping this mundane earthly existence, a.k.a. “the Matrix”. To vibrate at a higher frequency. To be more awake. To be more advanced than all those other stupid, low-vibrating sheep.
It makes you wonder why the Spirit even bothered to squeeze itself into this human costume in the first place, if the whole point now seems to be shedding it again at every turn.
I don’t know about you, but I find that peace and quiet helps when I want to ground myself. Retreat. Potato casserole, soups, or time in the woods. And since I’m lucky enough to call Mr. Grounded himself my partner in crime, I can say that massages help, too. However, the benefit stands or falls with the person giving the massage, so I wouldn’t make a blanket statement about that. But what definitely does NOT have a GROUNDING effect on the human body is swimming (water) or slacklining (air).
But what does it actually mean to vibrate high or to vibrate low?
The unit of measurement for frequency is Hertz (Hz), where 1 Hz corresponds to one vibration per second. The higher the frequency, the higher the pitch sounds to us.
Applied to Sound Healing, this means that deep tones correspond to a lower frequency, while high-pitched tones come with a higher frequency.
Our OM crystal singing bowl vibrates at 432 Hz and our crystal chalice at 246.94 Hz. Next, the Sun sound tube vibrates at 126.22 Hz. Followed by our Moon gong at 105.21 Hz and our Mars tuning fork at 144.72 Hz. 99% of our Sound Bath equipment sits within this “Low Vibe” frequency range.
What high frequencies feel like
Looking at our highest sounds, we find the Angel Tuners, three aluminum tuning forks at 4096 Hz, 4160 Hz, and 4225 Hz. Playing a “High Vibe” Sound Bath in that range would be a mistake. It would almost certainly lead to headaches, discomfort, restlessness, and maybe even nerve pain. And that’s exactly why nobody does it. Even the enlightened elves with their specially “high-vibrating” alchemy bowls play frequencies between 100 and 500 Hz during their Sound Baths. So, don’t let them pull the wool over your eyes.
Vegains is now eating animal products again “to ground himself”. And he has started smoking. Also to ground himself. From Mama Aya to tobacco. I can relate. A life without substances on this planet, especially in these times, is not always easy to endure. If you feel the same way, please do not hesitate to seek professional help. I know therapy spots are hard to get, but there are emergency hotlines for situations where you no longer know how to go on.
It’s highly unlikely that the solution for mental health conditions lies in indigenous plants, consumed in the spiritual scene as some kind of enlightenment happening.
And the next time you see someone boosting their ego by claiming to be on a particularly high vibrational frequency, think of those annoying, high-pitched beeps or squeaks. Better hit the brakes and ground yourself with a good dose of low vibes.
