we’re so glad you found your way here! We are Matthias and Jenny, two cat people from Berlin who moved to Kimolos in 2024 and now offer massage and Sound Baths on the island.

Even when we were still tourists on Kimolos, we fed kittens. As many of you probably do too…

The situation for stray cats on Kimolos is difficult.

Our aim here is not to criticise the situation or complain, but to take the first step towards positive change. There are many people who want to help and do something. We want to combine these forces and thus ensure that the situation for Kimolos cats improves fundamentally in the long term.

Purr Year’s Eve | A Calming Sound Bath for Cats & Dogs

In 2025, Purr Year’s Eve is released for the third year in a row.
Once again, we collaborate with the German animal welfare brand STRAYZ to provide a calming Sound Bath for cats and dogs during New Year’s Eve fireworks.

The full Sound Bath is shared on a donation basis. You can donate here and you’ll find a blogpost in German and English here. This year, donations from Purr Year’s Eve are dedicated to a woman on Kimolos who is caring for stray cats unshakeably. She feeds them, medicates them and stays with them when no one else does. Her work often goes unseen. We stand with her.

“Donations for Sterilizations” on Kimolos

Quite apart from Purr Year’s Eve, we are also already preparing for 2026. We created five donation boxes for Kimolos Cats, which we will set up at selected locations on the island.

At the same time, we will bring these small wet food pouches to the island. We are able to purchase them at wholesale prices, and 100% of the profits will go to Kimolos Cats. So, If you are on vacation and want to feed cats, you can buy them.
